In oilfield operation, pumping jack and PCP(Progressive Cavity Pumping) systems increase operational costs associated with rod&tubing friction and paraffin deposition in production tubing. Sunrise Petro has developed a series of rod guides which are also called rod centralizer that are molded directly onto the rod body to control this threat.
Friction between a single sucker rod and the production tubing inevitably leads to severe wear on both strings. This problem is amplified in deviated wells and in sections where the string is exposed to high compressive loads.
Sunrise Petro rod centralizer centers the rod column and guides it smoothly through the tubing, avoiding metal-to-metal contact and absorbing lateral loads that cause premature wear of couplings, rods, and tubing. So that users can expect their rod and tubing units to last longer.
