The drilling stabilizer, also known as centralizer, is a tool to keep the drill string running smoothly when it rotates at high speed in the borehole, so that the drill bit axis is as close to the borehole centerline as possible Its main function is to reduce the axial and radial vibration of the elastic system of the drill string in the borehole, reduce the eccentric wear of the drill rod and the drill bit, prevent well deviation, conduct manual directional drilling, and ensure the quality of drilling coring.
